We are very pleased to announce this year’s FNBB Spring Golf Tournament. This upcoming event will take place on Monday, March 25 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. sharp. We are hosting the tournament at the Country Club of Louisiana, 18400 Boulevard Louisiane (off Highland Road), Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In an effort to encourage maximum banker participation, we have made our entry fee the same as last year to insure that we make your decision to play an easy one. Our entry fee for bankers is $175 per individual entry or $600 for a banker foursome (this includes bank employees and directors). The entry fee for non-bankers is $250 per entry. The fee includes green fee, cart, gift, and an excellent lunch with an open bar. We will be offering our usual outstanding prize distribution where everyone wins.
Our field will be limited to 72 players, and due to the tournament popularity, we urge you to send your entry in as early as possible. Participants can win on either their own ball or with a blind draw partner, so if you happen to play less than great you can still finish high in the prize list. Handicaps should be certifiable, but anyone not having a handicap will be evaluated on either previous tournament play or by the tournament committee. (Sandbagging will be kept to an absolute minimum in fairness to all participants.)
Our tournament is open to all FNBB correspondents, their employees and their customers or guests. Many banks have found this to be an excellent opportunity to bring some of their better customers for a quality day of entertainment.
The deadline for entry is Wednesday, March 18th. We are excited about the opportunity to host our fellow bankers for what we promise to be a most enjoyable day at Louisiana’s No. 1 rated golf course. We hope you can join your fellow bankers from throughout the southeast for an outstanding event!
