First National Bankers Bank, a leading correspondent in the southeastern United States, is pleased to announce the hiring of Steven Champney. Mr. Champney joined FNBB as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on April 1, 2022.

Prior to joining FNBB, Mr. Champney has previously worked at First Commerce Corporation, a multi-bank holding company based in New Orleans; Arthur Andersen Consulting; The Shaw Group; as Chief Financial Officer of B1Bank (formerly Business First) in Baton Rouge; and as a partner in a CFO consulting business.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
